Education Requirements

Wyoming Association of REALTORS®

At-Large Members:
Within three (3) years of the date of election to membership, and every three (3) years thereafter, each At-Large REALTOR Member of the Association must demonstrate that they have completed a course of instruction in the Code of Ethics or Professional Standards. (Per WAR Bylaws Article III Section 5)

National Association of REALTORS®

REALTORS® are required to complete quadrennial ethics training of not less than two hours and thirty minutes of instructional time. REALTORS® completing such training during any four-year cycle shall not be required to complete additional ethics training in respect of this requirement as a requirement of membership in any other board or association. The current quadrennial cycle is January 1, 2009-December 31, 2012.

Wyoming Real Estate Commission

For the renewal of license, the WREC requires 45 hours of continuing education. This includes 24 hours of the Wyoming Real Estate Commission Approved Required Courses and 21 hours of electives.
