GRI is BACK!
Did you start your Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation and not get to finish it? Have you been longing to earn the designation, and waiting for it to be offered again in Wyoming?
Your wait is over! Wyoming has partnered with the Colorado Association of REALTORS® and Van Education Center to bring GRI to you.
Here's how it works:
- Wyoming REALTORS become secondary members of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® ($130 membership fee per year. Click here for an application.)
- Members will then be eligible to complete the requirements online and earn the GRI designation from CAR
- CAR may grant approval for certain GRI coursework previously completed by WAR members
- Once earned, the GRI designation is never taken away, so members will not have to continue their membership with CAR
Van Education Center is the online GRI provider for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®. Based in Colorado VanEd is one of the oldest online schools in the nation. Through VanEd WAR members can complete the GRI program online at their own pace; all you need is a computer with internet access.
VanEd provides:
- Access to the approved GRI courses online
- Access to instruction support online when students have questions
- Online course Q&A's - the most powerful instruction and research tool available!
- Certificates of course completion an reporting to both CAR and WAR
Financial considerations:
- CAR will waive the GRI application fees for WAR members, who will then pay only the Secondary Membership fees and course registration fees
- VanEd will provide CE Credit in Wyoming for some courses
- Course fees are set by CAR
